Sign in settings

The Signin tab provides following additional features:

IDP initiated login
  • It will allow users to start the SSO directly from the IdP, which then sends a SAML response to the Service Provider without an initial authentication request from the SP.
  • Go to the Signin tab and use the URL listed under IdP Initiated Login to log in to the Service Provider from the Identity Provider.
  • Enter your Identity Provider (IdP) credentials on the login page.
  • After successful authentication, you will be logged in to your configured Service Provider automatically.
Debug logs
  • This feature records debug logs and displays them under Reports → Recent log messages in the Drupal admin panel for easier troubleshooting and analysis.
  • To enable logs, go to the Signin → Debug Logs.
Role Based SSO
  • This will allow SSO based on user roles, ensuring that only users with specific roles are allowed to authenticate using SAML.
  • Navigate to the Signin → Role Based SSO section.
  • Now, select the required roles from the roles list shown in the scrollable box.
