Enable Email OTP Login

Feature Description

In addition to the email and password login, you can also enable passwordless login with email OTP for your Shopify B2B users. When enabled, users can log in securely using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered email address, eliminating the need to remember passwords. This provides a more convenient and secure authentication experience, especially useful for B2B users who prefer quick, passwordless access.

Setup Instructions

  • Navigate to the Shopify Dashboard, and open the miniOrange SSO application.

  • On the left, click on B2B. In the Configure B2B Features section, click on Configure.

  • In the Login Options for B2B tab, turn on the toggle of Enable Email OTP Login to allow users to access your Shopify store using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered email address.

  • After enabling the toggle, click on Save.

  • After saving, a confirmation message saying “B2B configurations saved” will appear.

  • Now, navigate to your online store, click the User icon, and then click the Sign in button.

  • Now, you can see that the email OTP login method has been added successfully in the login page.

  • Enter the associated email address and click on Verify to receive the verification code.
