Enable Phone OTP Login

Feature Description

In addition to email and password login, you can enable Phone OTP Login for your Shopify B2B users. When enabled, users can log in securely using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered phone number via SMS, removing the need for passwords. This offers a quick and secure authentication method, making it ideal for B2B users who prefer fast, passwordless access via their mobile devices.

Setup Instructions

  • Navigate to the Shopify Dashboard, and open the miniOrange SSO application.

  • On the left, click on B2B. In the Configure B2B Features section, click on Configure.

  • In the Login Options for B2B tab, enable the toggle of Phone OTP Login to allow users to access your Shopify store using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered phone number.

  • After enabling the toggle, click on Save.

  • After saving, a confirmation message saying “B2B configurations saved” will appear.

  • Now, navigate to your online store, click the User icon, and then click the Sign in button.

  • Now, you can see that the phone OTP login method has been added successfully in the login page.

  • Enter the associated phone number and click on Send SMS to receive a verification code.
