Restrict Access to Selected Customers

Feature Description

The Restrict Access to Selected Customers feature allows store owners to control access to specific parts of their store based on individual customer accounts. This ensures that only approved customers can interact with restricted content while preventing unauthorized users from viewing or purchasing certain products.

This feature is ideal for membership-based stores, wholesale businesses, exclusive product launches, or VIP customer access.

Setup Instructions

  • Navigate to the Apps >> LockOn- Restrict Store application.

  • Click on the Create lock button.

    Click on Create Lock

  • Provide a name for your lock.

  • Choose which parts of your Shopify store you want to lock from the options provided.

  • In the Control Access section, select Selected Customer as the lock criteria. Choose the Rules that will determine whether a specific customer is granted or restricted access to the store. Finally, select whether to Allow or Restrict access for the specified customers.

  • Choose what happen when unauthorized user try to access locked content. You can either redirect them to login page, any store page, any URL or show them custom HTML code.

    Handle Unauthorized Access

  • You can apply the lock immediately or schedule it to activate at a specific time. Set a custom duration for the lock to automatically restrict or reopen access based on your store's needs.

  • This is useful for time-sensitive restrictions, such as limited-time sales, exclusive member access, or temporary maintenance.
