Restrict Access based on User Login Status

Feature Description

The Restrict Access Based on User Login Status feature allows store owners to control visibility and access to different parts of their store, ensuring that only logged-in customers can interact with specific content. This is ideal for wholesale stores, membership-based content, exclusive product launches, or private storefronts.

Merchants can apply login-based restrictions to various elements of their store, including products, collections, pages, the entire store, and checkout functionalities.

Setup Instructions
  • Navigate to the Apps >> LockOn- Restrict Store application.

  • Click on the Create lock button.

    Click on Create Lock

  • Provide a name for your lock.

  • Choose which parts of your Shopify store you want to lock from the options provided.

  • In the Control Access section, select Logged-in User as the lock criteria. This ensures that only users who are logged into the store can access the restricted content, while guest users are prevented from viewing it. Choose whether you want to Allow or Restrict access to these users.

  • Choose what happen when unauthorized user try to access locked content. You can either redirect them to login page, any store page, any URL or show them custom HTML code.

  • You can apply the lock immediately or schedule it to activate at a specific time. Set a custom duration for the lock to automatically restrict or reopen access based on your store's needs.

  • Click on Save.
