Enable Folder Creation in Embedded View


The ability to create folders within an embedded view of SharePoint or a document management system directly from your WordPress site.

Solution


You can enable folder creation by configuring the SharePoint/OneDrive Integration Plugin and setting up the appropriate shortcode. This will provide users with an option to create new folders directly within the embedded view.

 

License Requirement


You must have the SharePoint/OneDrive Integration Plugin installed and properly licensed. To utilize this feature, you require the Enterprise plan of the plugin.

 

How to Enable Folder Creation in Embedded View?


Follow the below steps to Enable Folder Creation in Embedded View:
  1. To enable the folder creation functionality, navigate to the desired location where you want your users to be able to create folders. Once there, check the checkbox labeled Create Directory, and then click on Save Shortcode.

  2. Once the shortcode is saved, copy it from the Shortcodes tab.

  3. Embed the copied shortcode on your page. You will see the Add icon in the top right corner. Click on that icon.

  4. After clicking the Add icon, an input field will appear where you can enter the folder name. Type the name of the folder and click Create button.

  5. You have now successfully created the folder in your specified location.
